There are so many institutions and community-based staples in Ontario County, NY already working to undo the many layers of the criminal justice cycle, alone; just imagine the impact had if we were intentional about working together, in a new spirit of community collaboration and cooperation.

The newly established Community Liaison Team, led by the expertise of Kyvaughn Henry, MPH, Erin Pownall Burns, MSW, and The Partnership for Ontario County, Inc., is working to help facilitate a stronger connection and understanding between policymakers, institutions, service providers, and residents of Ontario County.

Through conversation, we will discuss and propose new strategies to create new and enhance existing services (and access to) that break the cycle of criminal justice involvement.
